Bachelor night

It's his bachelor night, and I got worried if the boys were to torture and bully him. They said about tying him up naked and make him pissed drunk, sending she-males to touch him...I got terrified!

He didn't reply my sms whole night. The next day he called me, and spoke in a miserable voice. Apparently he got pissed drunk and couldn't remember how he got home. He later told me about the different kind of condoms they gave him as a gift and all sort of advice.

Then he asked me what kind of role we want to play on our first night, and hinting "french maid". What sort of wild ideas...thanks to that kind of good friends we have!

At least they thought him right by asking him to join the "obedient husband club".

Can't wait...

Once, Andy said, "I'm so looking forward to "after" our wedding."
And I start giggling, thinking he's hinting something to me.

He rolled his eyes and said, "It's not what you were thinking!"

Then he said he can't wait to wake up and make me breakfast, give me massages, fill up warm water in the bath tub for me, wash my feet and even brush my toe nails with a toothbrush. "Awwhh...", I was so touched and was near to tears. Then suddenly he said, "You dream off lah... best I can do is go out and ta pao something!".

No wonder, for a moment I thought I was dreaming...

Sharing our joy

Without the friendship and love from our friends and family, we will not come to this far.

It's great to know how others are equally excited as us for our wedding. I'm thankful when my bridesmaids spend their weekend time to help me and be there for me. Those are the blessings that money can never buy.

Always will be the best friend and partner

We went on to get our marriage contract signed on the paper.

On that morning, Andy asked me, "Are you ready, partner?" I said, "Let's do it!".

While waiting, I played wedding march piece on the old piano in the registrar office, as disturbing as it could. I guess I must be too excited. I wonder why other couples are so quiet.

The registrar of marriage happened to be my primary school's headmistress. I tried to help her to recall the old memories by telling her that I was ranked no.1 academically in standard 6 throughout the whole school. Our family burst into laughter. Andy continued to made fun of me, showing his embarrassed face.

Before we get on to the signing, the registrar of marriage reminded us about love and trust, warn us on infidelity and divorce, and then asked us again for affirmation of our registration in a very serious manner. We look at each other and I asked him, "shall we discuss about this?". And we started laughing again.

We seems to be the only family that laughed so much during the registration.

Sometimes, we enjoy making fun of each other, just like any other friends so that we can have good laugh over it. I wonder why people take it so seriously when I made fun of him by posting his childhood photos on FB...
I supposed, to enjoy a relationship, is to treat each other affectionately, in a fun way, and not fearfully.

Still a boy at heart

Whenever it's my turn to serve in the King's Kids (Children Church) for worship and game leading, I will be scratching my head for songs choice and game ideas. I never attended Sunday school myself! But for Andy, it comes so naturally, he will sing me song one after another one, give me game ideas one another one.

One day while I was searching through photos for the use in wedding slides show, I realized he has so much photos taken with children. It's always full of fun and action...and I thought to myself, how could I not fall in love with a "big boy" with this quality?!

So, I told him, I initially do not want to have children, but after I met him, I want to have not just one but a few because I can't resist to duplicate a few of him. He said, "yeah, you are right, the children should get all my charm, my look, my brain"... I said, "Huh, then what's from me?!" He then pretend to think very hard for a long time and smiled without giving an answer.

Pre wed shoots

Joe from Just Married Bridal Studio took us from The Curve to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Janda Baik and Hulu Yam. Unfortunately it rained in Jana Baik and we missed the shoots of the farms and a number of things...

It wasn't an easy day for Andy. He used to tease his nephew Jacob for having a fake smile during photo taking. Now I can conclude that it runs in the gene.
