Weaving dreams together...

3 months into our relationship... on his birthday, we were on a car ride in Putrajaya after a dinner. He stopped by the PM office building, knelt down by my side, and asked me to open the dashboard drawer. The diamond ring was laying quietly in the box and he popped the question.

The sparkle in his eyes and the silly smile was unforgettable. We were excited but scared, the rest is history.

I’m now on a journey, to a day, when I will marry my best friend, the one I laugh with, live for, dream with, love...

Our Encounter...Part II

We were at a Christmas dinner organized by YAM in Dec 09 (yes..it’s another YAM event). I was in a white dress. He noticed me, and said that I looked gorgeous that night and can’t have his eyes off me. Our friendship was set on fire since then.

We have lots of fun together. We went for outings like movies and meals with others. He even celebrated my birthday with a surprise.

I enjoy his companion, and felt that it’s fun and safe to be friends. It took me a while to accept him into my life. Every time I prayed, I got confirmation from Him, that is, Andy is the right one. One says that if you have made a decision of choosing the right one, you will immediately find the peace.

That’s exactly how I felt when I finally decided. However, the consequences were sleepless nights... the reality turned to be better than dreams.

Andy, he is someone who constantly reminding me of how much he cares and how blessed he is to have me. He’s one who turns to his friends and says, that's her... I am indeed a proud girl friend.

Our Encounter... Part I

I dreamt that I finally found someone, who loves me as who I am, who see me an imperfect person perfectly, and gives me strength and courage when I needed most.

7 years ago, the fortune teller said that this special person will appear when I’m age 32. I wasn’t a Christian, and during then, it felt more like a curse than a blessing. But God, He has the best timing and plan installed.

I met Andy 4 years ago in a Friday cell. He’s cool and confident. We were ‘church’ friends since.

On Aug 8 ’09, on a trip to Sg Chongkak organized by Young Adult Ministry (YAM), we were on the same bus. I brought a camping chair, he volunteered to carry it out of courtesy. I thought in my heart, that he’s one sweet guy! However, when we arrived, he was attracted to burgers sold at a stall and walked away with my camping chair, and has forgotten about my existence.

Even when mention of this incident now, he can only recalled the burgers, not me and the camping chair. Today, Andy is still a person that will put food first before other things (He denies it).

It was a vivid encounter I had of him.
